We all know that content is king; after all, Google likes content (quality content, that is). But that doesn’t mean that you have to churn out fresh content all the time. The key is to be smart about your content creation process, for example, by repurposing what you already have. I do this regularly as it means that I don’t have to create fresh content and and also ensures that my content remains relevant for my audience.

However, seasonal posts are not the only ones that you can repurpose. You can repurpose any blog post or even create new ones using different blog types. The key is to keep it fresh #RIPBloggingFatigue

Here’s a text-based blog post that I repurposed with video. It was really easy and only took me 5 minutes to come up with this. I realise that it’s a bit rough around the edges, but I wanted to demonstrate what you can do in 5 minutes with the right tools.

Convert your presentation slides into video
There really is no need to re-invent the wheel. Find some old Powerpoint presentations, tidy them up and convert them into video. Here’s one I knocked up earlier (investment: 10 minutes. Tool: ContentSamurai).
